Ben Currie all set for Donington Park

Round 3 of the 2024 Bennetts British Superbike Championship takes place this weekend at Donington Park, an iconic circuit in the East Midlands that has hosted motorcycle racing for over 90 years.

It will be the second time Ben has visited the circuit this year, following the pre-season R&G Official Test that took place there at the start of April.

“I'm really looking forward to Donington Park, returning there after the tests. We've obviously had a test in Spain and two race rounds since we were last at Donington earlier this year, scoring two wins in the process.

We've made some slight improvements on the overall package of the Ducati V2, so I'm looking forward to getting back there. Especially as the Donington test suffered a little bit inclement weather, it was blowing quite heavy winds, so it would be nice to get back there with some better temperatures.

I can’t wait to get back to work with my guys and knuckle down. We're in a really strong position in the championship, only one point back from Jack Kennedy at the top of the Supersport standings. We're gaining momentum and there's no reason why we can't keep that going. I look forward to putting the work in, starting in Free Practice 1 at 9:30am this Friday morning.”
