The British Supersport title defence is on!

It’s been a long preseason here in the UK for me. And a lot has gone into it. I elected not to return back home to Australia for a break but to start my preseason training early with my Trainer Kirk Gibbons. We really needed to get ahead and get on top of my fitness and to make more steps on my back as last year there wasn’t enough time to fully recover after my injuries. But we’ve done some fantastic work and we’re an amazing position now.

I recently took a practice bike out to Spain to get some riding in ahead of the first official test at Donington Park this weekend (6th-7th April). It’s put me in good stead, along with the team's fantastic hard work and development in the Moto Rapido workshop down at their Ducati dealership in Winchester.

We couldn’t be in a better position to defend our title this year. I’m really looking forward to kickstarting the year off at Donington this weekend. As well as getting reunited with the Oxford Products Racing Ducati V2 we'll be testing out some new parts, before heading over to Spain to the Navarra Circuit on for the opening Bennetts British Superbike Round later this month (20th-21st April).

Everything is just about in place, so let’s get things going and have another fantastic season!
