Ben Currie racks up another British Supersport win at Oulton Park
Round 2 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship saw Ben Currie competing at his local racetrack, Oulton Park. It was another highly successful weekend, with Ben topping the pre-race weekend official test, scoring a second-place finish in the Sprint race, and then going one better on the bank holiday Monday by winning the Supersport Feature Race.
Onward to Oulton for Ben Currie’s home round
Ben Currie heads to Oulton Park this week having won the last British Supersport race at the opening round in Navarra. And the last time Ben was at Oulton on the Ducati V2 he qualified in pole and went on to score a double podium, so feelings ahead of this race round are definitely positive for the Australian racer.
Ben Currie wins the British Supersport Feature Race at Navarra
The season opener at Navarra was one of highs and lows for Ben. A fast crash early on in testing required his bike to be completely rebuilt, and then not adhering to a missed penalty cost several positions in his first race. But Ben was not to be outdone and rolled out for the final race determined to bring home a strong points haul for his Oxford Products Racing Ducati team.
2024 Airoh helmet design reveal
Ben Currie has unveiled his 2024 helmet design for this season at Circuit Navarro, Spain, ahead of the opening round of this year’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship. Ben will once again be using an Airoh GP helmet, painted by Image Design Custom.
